Sheet to Google Contacts

Create Google Contacts from spreadsheet rows in bulk — map any header, tag a group

contactsimportbulkpeoplegoogle contactsspreadsheet
Turn spreadsheet rows into Google Contacts — no CSV export, no brittle column
matching. Point the add-on at a data range, map your headers to contact fields,
optionally drop the new contacts into a group/label, and click Create contacts.
Each row becomes one Google Contact via the People API.

WHAT IT DOES
• Header mapping — map ANY spreadsheet header to a contact field, in any column
order, with simple Header=field lines. Supports given name, family name, email,
phone, organization, and job title. Matching is case-insensitive.
• Bulk creation — every data row becomes one contact in a single click.
• Default range — pre-fills the active sheet's used range; edit it to target a
  subset (e.g. Sheet1!A1:E50).
• Optional group / label — name a group and new contacts are added to it; the
group is created automatically if it doesn't exist.
• Robust — blank rows are skipped, and the run continues past individual failures,
reporting how many succeeded and how many failed.

GREAT FOR
• Onboarding a list of leads, members, or attendees into Google Contacts.
• Turning a signup or event spreadsheet into a real contact group.
• Anyone who keeps their people list in a sheet.

WHY IT BEATS THE MANUAL WAY
No CSV export, no Contacts CSV import, no fighting fixed column names. It reads
the live sheet, maps any header to any field, creates contacts in bulk, and tags
them into a group — all without leaving the spreadsheet.
