This Privacy Policy explains what information the 1dot.ai add-ons (for Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to every add-on we publish under 1dot.ai.

1. Information we collect

• Your account email. When you use a paid or metered feature, the add-on sends your Google (or Microsoft) account email to our licensing service so we can check your plan, trial, and free-credit balance. The email is used as your entitlement key.
• Content you choose to process. Add-ons operate on the specific file, selection, or values you point them at (for example, the cells you select to turn into barcodes). This content is processed to produce the result you asked for and is not stored on our servers.
• Usage / credit counts. We record how many metered actions you perform, keyed to your email, so we can enforce free credits and paid plans.
• Payment information. Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the email it applies to; we do not receive or store your card details.

2. What we do not collect

We do not read your entire Drive or mailbox. Most add-ons use per-file scopes (such as spreadsheets.currentonly / drive.file) that grant access only to the file you are using. We do not access contacts, calendar, or email content unless a specific add-on's listing says so and you grant that scope. We do not sell your personal data.

3. How we use information

We use the information to provide the add-on's features, authenticate your entitlement, enforce free/paid usage, provide support, and improve the product. Some add-ons send only the values you ask to encode to a rendering service (for example, barcode/QR images are generated via QuickChart) to return an image.

4. Service providers (sub-processors)

• Cloudflare — hosting, Workers, and the D1 database that stores licenses and credit balances.
• Paddle — payments, billing, and tax (merchant of record).
• Google / Microsoft — the platforms the add-ons run on.
• QuickChart — renders barcode/QR images from the values you choose to encode.
• Anthropic — only for add-ons that offer AI features (the prompt text you submit).
• WhatsApp / Meta — only for add-ons that send WhatsApp messages you initiate.

5. Data storage, security & retention

License and credit records are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We retain entitlement records for as long as your license or credits are active, and delete them on request. Content you process is handled transiently and is not retained by us.

6. Google user data — Limited Use

1dot.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the minimum scopes needed, use Google user data solely to provide the user-facing features described in each listing, do not transfer or sell it for advertising, do not allow humans to read it (except with your consent, for security, or to comply with law), and do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models. 7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing support@1dot.ai. We honor applicable rights under the GDPR, CCPA, and India's DPDP Act.

8. Children

Our service is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new effective date on this page.
